  • Gross Negligence and Threatening Behavior

This statement is being shared as a public accountability record regarding a situation involving myself and the owner of Xtreme Underground, a body piercing shop operating in Oswego County, New York. The owner of the business is Brian Colombo. This account is being submitted to document the interaction for public awareness, transparency, and community safety. The situation began as a disagreement related to business conduct and public communications made by the owner under business-associated online accounts. What initially started as concern over professional behavior escalated into a personal conflict. Messages that were originally related to business matters allegedly shifted into hostile and indirect threatening language. One statement referenced “meeting up for a haircut,” despite the individual not being a licensed barber. Because this communication was made from a business-connected account, it raised concern regarding how such statements may be interpreted by the public and whether business-operated platforms are being used appropriately. In addition to the above interaction, it is part of the public record that both the owner and the business were previously named in a civil lawsuit related to the death of a teenager who had obtained K2 from the establishment. That matter was resolved through a civil settlement. This is included here strictly for public awareness and historical context, not as a criminal finding, as the issue was handled through civil proceedings. It is also worth noting the following concerns based on publicly observable behavior and documented interactions: critics have been blocked from commenting on the business’s Facebook page, which has had the effect of reducing or hiding critical responses; there have been repeated public claims that coordinated efforts were made by associated individuals to boost or inflate the business’s online ratings; and there have been inconsistencies between public statements made by the owner regarding legal matters and what appears in publicly available court records. These points are being included as community concerns and observations, not as formal legal determinations. My intent in documenting this is not retaliation or harassment, but accountability and public safety. I raised these concerns as a member of the local community who believes that business owners, especially those operating in personal-service industries, should conduct themselves in a way that does not create fear, intimidation, or erosion of public trust. When business identities are used in confrontational or threatening ways, it raises legitimate concern for customers and the community at large.
